The speakers and reciters that will be accompanying us on our Arbaeen 2023 tour;

Shaykh Azhar Nasser was born and raised in Michigan and has a degree in cultural anthropology from the University of Michigan. After completing his academic studies, he pursued his religious studies at the Hawza of Najaf under the offices of Grand Ayatollah Sistani and Grand Ayatollah Hakim.
In addition to his extensive study of classical religious texts, he has also taught introductory courses to western students at the seminary. Shaykh Azhar has a deep passion for the study of the Holy Quran which is evident from his lectures and discussions. Shaykh Azhar is the author of two books, “The Grand Tour: Quranic Descriptions of Paradise”, published in 2018 and “Spiritual Prescriptions”, published in 2019.
Sheikh Azhar is the Religious Director of Curriculum Planning. He is also a Co-Founder of Tasneem Institute.

Mustafa Ali Masood is an Islamic Lecturer and researcher. Having completed his undergraduate studies at the Kingston University, he went on to study at the Hawza at the Islamic College. He is also a student at the Khataam al-Nabeen Hawza based in London and has been studying premilenary Hawza studies since 2018.
As well as lecturing Mustafa works in Islamic Media and has been a researcher and producer for many ground breaking documentaries and films. He is also a regular speaker at many centres in the UK and around the western world especially during holy months of Muharram and Safar.

Nouri Sardar is a poet and filmmaker born and raised in London. His poetry focuses on the Ahlulbayt the Prophet Muhammad and his family), on divine love, spirituality and on issues of social justice. He has published five books of poetry and produced multiple albums commemorating the epic of Ashura. Through books, albums and videos, his poetry is read and heard avidly by readers and listeners worldwide.

Ali Fadhil is an Islamic Nasheed artist, coming from a traditional Iraqi back ground. He is experienced in Islamic recitation focusing on the importance of Islam through poetry and melody.
He has lived in the West for the majority of his life and thus has accustomed himself with modern western poetry and recitation.As well as recitations Ali Fadhil also works in the media as a TV presenter for numerous Islamic television channels.
In terms of public recitation, Ali Fadhil has travelled the world expressing the love of Islam through poetry and singing, and produced numerous albums and videos available online.

Sayed Tahir Abbas Kazmi is a British-Pakistani reciter from London. He is known for his Urdu Lamentation (Noha), Manqabats, Nasheeds & Hamds. He comes from a family full of reciters who have been serving the community for many years.
Although, he started reciting from a very young age, it was from the age of 14 he started regularly appearing on various Islamic TV Channels. In the recent years, he has been fortunate enough to recite in different parts of the world including Australia, Canada, USA, Pakistan, Iran & Iraq to name a few.

Hayder graduated with a first-class honours in Finance in 2008 – he has been working in Business Intelligence since then and currently holds the position of Business Development Director. He is a seasoned public speaker, and his accolades include award ceremonies, community events and the odd wedding!
He has also been providing Voice Overs and hosting/presenting events across various media streams over the last 12 years. Notably he is co-founder of Al-Haraka Al-Hussainiya and a writer of poetry for Shia Eulogies.
